About The Position
PersonalRX, a rapidly growing mail order pharmacy is looking to hire a pharmacist with a minimum of three years’ retail experience. This position is needed to assist our existing team to complete the activities required to dispense the medications needed by our expanding patient base. Requirements
- Retail Pharmacy: 3 years (Required)
- NJ Pharmacy License (Required)
- Licensed Pharmacist (Required)
- Ability to Commute: East Rutherford, NJ 07073 (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Optional - licenses in other states a plus but not required. The Pharmacist hired will be expected to get other state licenses over time.
- Ability to Relocate: East Rutherford, NJ 07073: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Complete Pre-check dispensing activities
- Assist with prescription final verification
- Dispense medications as needed (controls and non controls)
- Review claims and rebill as needed based on reimbursement
- Assist QA team if medications need to be reshipped
- Assist pharmacy technicians as needed
- Respond to urgent calls from our patients (RPh on call line)
- Take verbal prescriptions from providers
- Transfer in/out prescriptions as needed
