About The Position

As an integral part of Propel Pharmacy, LLC the Pharmacist drives pharmacy operations to ensure a seamless patient experience. As a Pharmacist, you are dedicated to delivering a high-quality level of care and will lead key operational efforts at Propel Pharmacy, LLC Syracuse. Above all, you embody the mission of providing access to healthcare for all who suffer from chronic conditions. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in New York
  • Adaptable, flexible, and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and high growth environments
  • Analytical, creative, and can leverage data to make thoughtful and informed decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate a passion for the mission of expanding access to healthcare
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
  • Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person communication 7-8 hours per day.
  • Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
  • Ability to sit or stand at a desk for 7-8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift 50-60lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately fulfill and process prescription orders in a high-volume mail-order pharmacy serving patients across 49 states
  • Comprehensive review and verification of prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform clinical utilization reviews and implement quality control measures to ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications
  • Provide consultations and assist with medication information questions as requested by patients and providers
  • Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians’ workflow
  • Comply with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration
  • Participate in departmental continuous improvement efforts, lead projects,and engage and communicate cross-functionally with other teams to improve our internal processes
  • Other duties as assigned
