About The Position
The Pharmacist is an exciting professional opportunity at MultiCare, ensuring prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care services for patients, nurses and physicians. Requirements
- Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
- Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)
Nice To Haves
- Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions
- Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records
- Supervise support personnel and assumes responsibility for final check of all completed work
- Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services
- Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service
