About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role is pivotal in interpreting prescriptions, managing medication therapy, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with healthcare providers to offer expert medication advice and contribute to achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacist with a degree in Pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of medication therapy management (MTM) practices.
• Proficient in interpreting prescriptions and dispensing medications safely.
• Excellent communication skills for advising healthcare providers and patients .
• Basic knowledge of commonly used software, such as Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions and verify their accuracy.
• Perform medication therapy management (MTM) functions and compound medications as needed.
• Dispense medications in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Assure the proper and economic use of medications.
• Provide medication information and advice to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
• Manage and utilize the approved formulary effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
