Varied shifts rotating between day/evening/ and weekend shifts. Primarily will be weekday shifts. The Clinical Pharmacist oversees the medication distribution system for their area of responsibility. In addition, the Clinical Pharmacist identifies, prevents, and resolves drug therapy problems by ensuring each medication is indicated, effective, safe, and convenient for the patient. Essential Functions Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. Assures the appropriateness of drug therapy and compliance with hospital policies Oversees the distribution of medications throughout TJUH Supports implementation of processes to assure the quality of Pharmacy services Trains staff as assigned (e.g., residents, interns, technicians, new pharmacists) Job Description Education: Doctor of Pharmacy Experience: PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred
