About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused licensed Pharmacist to join our growing pharmacy team in Winnipeg. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and effective provision of pharmacy services, including clinical assessment, prescription verification, and patient counselling. The ideal candidate is highly organized, attentive to detail, technologically proficient, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
• Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety
• Proficiency with WinRx (or similar pharmacy software) and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Comfortable working with multiple digital platforms and adapting to new technologies
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide clinical consultations, and patient counselling to support safe and effective drug therapy
• Oversee the preparation, labelling, and dispensing of medications in accordance with provincial guidelines
• Support patients and healthcare providers by offering evidence-based drug information and clinical recommendations
• Communicate with patients through both verbal and written communication
• Supervise and guide Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians in daily workflow and operational activities
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with pharmacy legislation
• Participate in quality assurance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager
