Requirements

Pharmacist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe and accurate medication management by verifying appropriate selection, dosing, administration, compounding, and dispensing of medication orders.
Evaluate medication therapies to identify, prevent, and resolve actual or potential drug-related issues; recommend formulary alternatives and collaborate with providers to optimize patient outcomes.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in medication preparation and distribution, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Deliver drug information and counseling to patients and healthcare professionals, serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students, and provide operational coverage as needed.
