About The Position
GENERAL FUNCTION: The person occupying this position functions as a Pharmacist and serves as the primary therapist for clients in the Aftercare Medication Clinic.
Requirements
- The person occupying this position must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and must be licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- To dispense medications as prescribed within the Center.
- To participate in the administration of the pharmacies.
- To assess the needs and problems of individual clients.
- Under supervision, to assess the need for and make recommended changes in medication.
- To participate in discharge planning as needed.
- To provide client consultation regarding medication instructions as needed.
- To uphold all local, state and federal laws pertaining to pharmacy.
- Other duties as assigned.
