About The Position

Red Rock Pharmacy is a fast-growing Long-Term Care Pharmacy and we are looking for a Full-Time Pharmacist for the Springville area. We are looking for a hard-working, organized, problem-solving pharmacist with great attention to detail. Experience in long-term care pharmacy is preferred, but not required so long as the applicant is willing to learn.

Requirements

• Active pharmacist license in the State of Utah, and in good standing
• Active Controlled Substance license
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism

Nice To Haves

• Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Expert use and safety of medications dispensed.
• Work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and ancillary help with filling, dispensing, labelling and packaging of medication.
• Perform the final check on all medication.
• Manage inventory and profitability. (Invoicing purchasing, labor etc.)
• Protect health information (HIPPA).
• Prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Prepare sterile solutions according to USP 797.
• Prepare Enteral feeding and nutrition.
• Prepare computer generated forms and reports.
• Maintain the legal aspects of pharmacy practice and regulations.
