Requirements
- Graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by ACPE
- Active Michigan Pharmacist license
- Sharp attention to detail and sound clinical judgment
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Nice To Haves
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred, or a strong willingness to learn the inpatient side
Responsibilities
- Review and monitor medication orders for accuracy, allergies, and drug interactions
- Prepare and admix intravenous medications according to standard protocols
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Provide medication guidance and answer clinical questions for staff and patients
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and uphold safety standards at every step
- Collaborate with healthcare teams while also working independently when the situation calls for it
