About The Position

As a Pharmacist, you will work closely with management and technicians to provide customers with exceptional care and a one-of-a-kind pharmacy experience. What will I do? Answer, assess and listen to customer questions, needs and concerns; show empathy in sensitive situations; strive to exceed expectations, provide alternative solutions to problems, and achieve the best possible outcome for customers Provide counseling on prescriptions; relay pertinent information for success and confidence in at home use of medication Perform all necessary steps of work flow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products Maintain product levels, improve efficiencies, seek continuous improvement opportunities, identify barriers to achieve goals, and escalate issues when appropriate Support and stay current on company wellness initiatives; ensure consistency and execution and share best practices Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business

Requirements

• Pharmacist State License (may require licensing in multiple states)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (PharmB) degree
• Certified Pharmacist Immunizer
• AED, CPR certified
• Computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Certified in a Disease State
• Experience working in a high-volume retail Pharmacy setting
