The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying, compounding, and preparing drug bags, as well as reviewing and verifying medication orders for both pediatric and adult patients. Additional duties include conducting narcotic reviews, ordering and filling medications in omnicell/AWS, and performing inspections of the Omnicell/AWS machines. We are seeking a pharmacist who is motivated, detail-oriented, capable of managing dosing, discussing policies with physicians, and able to work independently. Candidates with a passion for pediatric care and a background in surgical pharmacy and pediatric medications are preferred. As our facility expands to include more operating rooms and a pharmacy, this role will be crucial in ensuring compliance with our medication management and compounding policies.
