Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Pharmacist to join our team! As the Pharmacist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Ensuring compliance with appropriate Pharmacy laws and standards of practice Supervising pharmacy technicians as needed Conducting medication assessments, paperwork for drug monitoring Coordinating deliveries to ensure timely arrival of medication & supplies Answering facility’s drug-related questions/concerns, assisting in solving problems Assistance in drug procurement; processing orders Maintaining awareness of current controlled substance laws and regulations, along with Consonus Pharmacy policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Current license in State(s) practicing.
  • Strong clinical and IV skills as a Pharmacist are required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with appropriate Pharmacy laws and standards of practice
  • Supervising pharmacy technicians as needed
  • Conducting medication assessments, paperwork for drug monitoring
  • Coordinating deliveries to ensure timely arrival of medication & supplies
  • Answering facility’s drug-related questions/concerns, assisting in solving problems
  • Assistance in drug procurement; processing orders
  • Maintaining awareness of current controlled substance laws and regulations, along with Consonus Pharmacy policies and procedures.
