About The Position

As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients across various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and manage medication therapy, providing expert advice to healthcare professionals and patients alike. Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency program or equivalent experience.
In this role, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential, as representatives will handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
Verbal communication skills are utilized daily to engage with customers, ensuring they feel heard and valued.
Problem resolution skills are critical for identifying issues and providing effective solutions, which directly impacts customer satisfaction.
Oral and written communication skills are employed to convey information clearly and accurately, whether on the phone or through email.
A positive attitude is vital, as it helps create a welcoming atmosphere for customers and encourages repeat business.

Nice To Haves

Board certification in a pharmacy specialty (e.g., BCPS, BCGP).
Experience in clinical pharmacy or hospital pharmacy settings.
Familiarity with pharmacy benefit management systems.
Experience in a compounding setting.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Conduct immunization services and educate patients on vaccine benefits and schedules.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
