The Staff Pharmacist appropriately dispenses prescribed drugs, handles incoming physician calls, logs data into the computer, performs Rx workflow processing, and conducts drug utilization reviews. This position is based in Wilton Manors, FL (1409 NE 26th St.) The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM. This role offers a 30-hour work week, along with eligibility for benefits. About the Role: Properly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and supplies, pursuant to all state and federal laws Maintain the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and services Assist with managing pharmacy operations and supervising Pharmacy Technicians and Clerks Collaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions Communicate by phone and email to build and sustain relationships with covered entity partners Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy Keep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programs Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA Maintain a high level of professionalism consistent with company standards, including dress, personal appearance, and grooming Perform other related duties as assigned Perform in accordance with company policies and standards Embrace and perform in the spirit of the company’s core values and goals About You: Bachelor’s or Doctoral (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of FL 1+ year of full-time retail pharmacist experience preferred Excellent interpersonal, customer-service, and communication skills Proactive self-starter with high degree of initiative and strong follow-up skills 340B experience and/or AAHIVP certification a plus At Avita Care Solutions, compassionate care is at the heart of everything we do.
