As a Pharmacist you will perform various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders. You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location in Pine Brook, NJ. The available work schedule for this position will be second shift. This is a Sunday - Thursday schedule from 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm EST with a possible need for help on first shift Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm EST and occasional weekends You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in good standing in state of New Jersey
- 1+ years of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist
- Willing and able to first or second shift and occasional weekends
- Proven ability to lift 30 pounds
- Willing to work in a fast paced environment
Nice To Haves
- PBM or Managed Care experience
- Mail Order Pharmacy experience
- High-volume Retail Pharmacy experience
Responsibilities
- Oversees the activities of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy clerks
- Organizes workload, sets priorities, completes assignments in a timely manner and utilizes resources appropriately while complying with department program standards
- Performs all duties and functions in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Conforms with and supports department quality assurance and improvement guidelines
