About The Position

The Pharmacist at Aequita Pharmacy will be responsible for providing compounding and mail order pharmacy services. This role involves filling prescriptions, maintaining organization, and working independently without direct patient interaction. The ideal candidate should possess strong pharmaceutical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to their work.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a pharmacist
• Experience with both sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
• Must be able to lift and push or pull up to 50lbs
• Pick and pinch small tablets with fingers, and seize, hold, grasp or turn objects with hands
• Perceive the size, shape, temperature, or texture of objects by touching with fingertips
• See objects at close vision and be able to identify and distinguish colors.

Nice To Haves

• Compounding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, verifying, and dispensing medications.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medications.
• Keep track of inventory and re-order as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols when handling medications.
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
