Requirements

A Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Pharmacy is required, PharmD preferred.
Must be a Registered Pharmacist licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Nice To Haves

Previous hospital and retail experience is preferred.
Extensive consultation, education, and/or Medication Therapy Management experience is preferred, as well as a working knowledge of formularies and Third Party billing practices.
Advanced course work in disease state management is desirable.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Retail Pharmacy Manager or Designee, perform a variety of professional services and responsibilities related to the clinical review and facilitation of outpatient drug therapy to promote adherence and access post-discharge.
Keep current with computer applications and pertinent state and federal law/regulations.
Provide technical direction and supervision of assigned personnel including students.
Communicate with patients and other health care professionals to optimize medication therapy.
Track and report interventions.
One-on-one patient consultations including Wellness Clinic and home visits.
Perform, track and bill for MTM (Medication Therapy Management) services.
