Requirements

• Licensed to practice pharmacy in a State, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Ability to distinguish basic colors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the medication delivery system.
• Ensure the integrity and proper storage of all medications.

• Maintain records and reports related to the purchase, receipt, and disposition of drugs and related supplies.
• Deliver pharmaceutical care that is patient-centered and outcomes-oriented.
• Collaborate with patients and healthcare providers to promote health and ensure safe and effective drug therapy regimens.
• Maintain security of the correctional institution as a primary responsibility.
