Wea re the primary collection source for the National Marrow Donor Program in Southern California and the Department of Defense, as well as the largest collection site in the world. The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist will be able to work with an expanded, prestigious oncology healthcare team in order to build and grow the Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT), Cellular Therapy (CAR-T) and Hematologic Malignancy programs respectively. Additionally, the Pharmacist Specialist will be responsible for providing oncology expertise in the review of chemotherapy orders and treatment plans for our Encinitas and La Jolla hospitals. The Oncology Pharmacist Specialist will: Be experienced in chemotherapy preparation, assessment of treatment plans and supportive care plans. Oversee technicians and preparation of chemotherapy and other IV products as well as the day to day operational work within the oncology infusion centers. Review chemotherapy regimen and will be confident in interaction with physicians to discuss treatment plan.
