This Pharmacist position is located at Skokie Hospital, involves rotating shifts and weekends, and requires travel to various other hospital locations within the Endeavor Health system.

Requirements

Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist License
BLS degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
