About The Position
The Pharmacist oversees the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy department, assisting in the training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, and ensuring the consistent application of organizational policies. The role relies on experience and professional judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. The Pharmacist is responsible for implementing and adhering to the Kinney Standard of Practice, ensuring the provision of the highest quality health care service to customers. This includes dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients, performing quality assurance steps, and managing pharmacy inventory.
