Responsible for providing physician, staff and family (caregivers) with drug information. Processes all prescription orders, maintaining appropriate records, and overseeing preparation, storage, and distribution of all pharmaceuticals. Also responsible for the supervision of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

  • Oversees preparation, storage, and distribution of all pharmaceuticals.

  • Performs all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
  • Follows and adheres to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
  • Complies with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in Montana.
  • Pharm.D. degree, or BS Pharmacy, from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Anticoagulation therapy management certification from ACPE Accredited course and/or certified anticoagulation provider from ASHP when applicable.
