About The Position
Under general supervision, performs the full scope of duties associated with professional pharmacy practice. Is empowered to use judgment in the decision-making process within their sphere of activity.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or Doctor of Pharmacy) plus current NYS Pharmacist license and registration is required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a pharmacist in Hospital Pharmacy with accepted standards of practice.
- Maintains professional competence through participation in continuing education programs and review of periodical literature.
- Maintains and provides proof of 15 Continuing Education credits each year.
Nice To Haves
- PharmD or MS degree and/or completion of Pharmacy Residency Program may be used as a substitute for some experience.
