Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BSPharm or PharmD)
- Active license to practice pharmacy in the state of Alabama
- Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience
- Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and compliance standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
- Must be computer literate, with proficiency in pharmacy systems and general office
- Patient-focused, professional, and team-oriented approach
- Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with ARMS policy and Alabama state laws
- Supervise and mentor Pharmacy Technicians and PRN Technicians
- Dispense medications with a strong commitment to patient safety and organizational procedures
- Monitor pharmacy trends, optimize 340B opportunities, and pursue revenue-enhancing initiatives
- Maintain compliance with federal/state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and safety protocols
- Lead the development of pharmacy marketing plans and educational outreach efforts
- Support business development and community pharmacy programs
- Conduct regular inventory control, including timely removal of expired medications
