Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BSPharm or PharmD)
  • Active license to practice pharmacy in the state of Alabama
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience
  • Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and compliance standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
  • Must be computer literate, with proficiency in pharmacy systems and general office
  • Patient-focused, professional, and team-oriented approach
  • Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with ARMS policy and Alabama state laws
  • Supervise and mentor Pharmacy Technicians and PRN Technicians
  • Dispense medications with a strong commitment to patient safety and organizational procedures
  • Monitor pharmacy trends, optimize 340B opportunities, and pursue revenue-enhancing initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with federal/state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and safety protocols
  • Lead the development of pharmacy marketing plans and educational outreach efforts
  • Support business development and community pharmacy programs
  • Conduct regular inventory control, including timely removal of expired medications
