About The Position

BJC/Saint Luke’s Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support our primary care clinics in Independence and Blue Springs,, Missouri. In this role, you will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, delivering comprehensive medication management and contributing your expertise to Saint Luke’s Population Health initiatives.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD .
• Licensure: Active Pharmacist licenses in both Missouri and Kansas .
• Certifications: Missouri Medication Therapy Services (MTS) and AHA/Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) .
• Applicable Experience: 3-5 years
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Licensed Pharmacist - Various
• Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

• Clinical Management: Design, monitor, and adjust patient-specific therapeutic regimens to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside physicians and clinic staff to clarify orders and document interventions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) .
• Medication Oversight: Prepare, dispense, and verify prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and regulatory compliance.
• Patient Education: Provide routine counseling on drug information, side effects, and adherence to patients and caregivers.
• Professional Leadership: Supervise supportive personnel, manage departmental projects, and lead system-wide health initiatives.
