About The Position

The Pharmacist position at MultiCare is a professional role focused on providing prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care services to patients, nurses, and physicians. Requirements

• Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
• Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in a setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other).

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions.
• Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records.
• Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final check of all completed work.
• Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services.
• Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service.
