About The Position

The Sierra Vista Hospital location, a 171-bed psychiatric care facility located in south Sacramento, is a full-service mental health facility and a center of support for patients and their families. Since 1986, we have offered our clinical expertise to those suffering from emotional, behavioral and addiction problems.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Pharmacy intern is responsible for the complete and efficient operation of the pharmacy within all legal and accreditation/certification requirements, as well as applicable facility policies, procedures, codes and standards.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Pharm.D. program
• Active Intern Pharmacist license
• A working knowledge of TJC standards, OSHA regulations, and state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy intern is responsible for the complete and efficient operation of the pharmacy within all legal and accreditation/certification requirements, as well as applicable facility policies, procedures, codes and standards.
