Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Pharmacist Intern – Emplify Health by Gundersen Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking Pharmacist Interns to join our team! This paid internship is designed for second-year student pharmacists (P2) currently enrolled in an accredited PharmD program. Choose Your Practice Area Interns will be hired into one of two distinct practice settings: Hospital Pharmacy – Gain experience in inpatient care, clinical pharmacy services, and hospital operations at our world-class facility. Outpatient Pharmacy – Develop skills in medication management, patient counseling, and team communication in a clinic embedded outpatient setting. Program Overview Our internship offers a unique two-phase experience that combines immersive learning with ongoing practice: Phase One: Summer Immersion (May–August 2026) Start Date: May 2026 (flexible to accommodate your university’s finals schedule) Schedule: Up to 40 hours/week during the initial summer Hours: Primarily weekdays (between 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., depending on pharmacy), with occasional evenings and at least two weekend shifts for training Experience: Orientation and training in pharmacy-specific workflows and intern functions within your chosen practice area Work alongside pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and allied health professionals for exposure to operations and specialties Phase Two: Ongoing Practice (September 2026–May 2028) After returning to school, interns continue part-time with every 3–4 weekend rotations Schedule: Saturday and Sunday shifts (daytime only, no earlier than 7:00 a.m., no later than 5:00 p.m.) Flexibility: Sunday hours adjusted to allow travel back to your university Opportunities to pick up additional shifts if desired Interview Timeline Virtual interviews begin: Late January to February 2026 Why Emplify Health by Gundersen?
