About The Position

As a Pharmacist Intern PRN with HCA Florida West Hospital, you will engage in the practice of pharmacy under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist. This includes interpreting prescription orders, compounding, packaging, labeling, dispensing, and distributing prescription drugs or devices. You may also participate in providing pharmaceutical care, conducting drug utilization reviews, ensuring the proper storage of drugs, maintaining records, and providing patient counseling. Requirements

• State License Pharmacy Intern
• High School Graduate / GED
• Maintain pharmacy intern licensure while pursuing Florida pharmacist licensure

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescription orders
• Compound, package, label, and dispense prescription drugs
