About The Position

Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital-based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties. The Pharmacist at Montgomery Cancer Center will be based in our Infusion Pharmacy. The Pharmacist will be responsible for medication order entry, clinical patient evaluation, preparation, compounding and dispensing of pharmaceutical products, along with compliance with USP guidelines. Great schedule, Monday - Friday, day shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy required
• PharmD preferred
• PGY1 residency or relevant clinical experience required
• PGY2 oncology residency preferred
• Valid and active licensure and controlled substance certification with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy
• Experience in an oncology setting preferred
• Parenteral Certification preferred, if not certified upon employment, required within (6) months of employment
• Ability to accurately perform computer order entry duties
• Proficient in needed pharmaceutical calculations and the metric system
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
