Assumes primary responsibility for maintaining standards set by the department and assuring policies and procedures are translated into the operations of the pharmacy during extended periods of time when there are no on-site supervisors or other pharmacists available for consultation; dispenses medications to oncology patients including unit-dose medications, intravenous additive preparations, total parenteral nutrition, chemotherapeutic agents, and investigational agents (Phase I, II and III); solves drug-related problems, monitors medication therapy, counsels patients, provides drug information to the medical staff; may provide specialized services related to quality improvement and chemotherapy management. Base salary range for this position is $154,314 with an additional geographic differential of $11,077. This position also includes a full comprehensive benefits package The pharmacist- in -charge works a 7 on 7 off schedule.
