NuCara is currently seeking a full-time Pharmacist in Charge working 32- 4 0 ho urs per week . This role provides leadership and oversight of pharmacy operations, including staff management, workflow efficiency, compliance, and patient care. The Pharmacist in Charge ensures smooth daily operations, exceptional service, and a positive team culture in a busy, community-focused pharmacy. Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy .
  • Current Iowa pharmacy license by starting date.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of community pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations and provide leadership and supervision for pharmacy technicians and support staff.
  • Perform pharmacist duties, including dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and other core community responsibilities.
  • Deliver and expand clinical billable services, including Medication Therapy Management (MTM), compliance packaging programs, and other enhanced patient care initiatives.
  • Utilize available technologies, including pharmacy management systems , clinical databases, and pharmacy-focused vendor platforms to optimize workflow , documentation, and patient care outcomes.
  • Maintain adherence to all regulatory standards, professional guidelines, and company policies while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
  • Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, a high level of motivation, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • They must also be able to efficiently utilize available resources to provide optimal patient care.
