About the position
Under the direction of the Pharmacy Services Manager or Pharmacist II, the Pharmacist I performs professional pharmaceutical work. The Pharmacist I prepares and dispenses drugs and medications, reviews and transcribes patient charts and medications, and ensures proper handling and record keeping of drugs, poisons, and narcotics in accordance with Department policies, federal and State laws, and regulations.

Requirements
- Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a licentiate in pharmacy issued by the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Individuals in their final semester of an accredited school of pharmacy or have graduated from an accredited school of pharmacy may be admitted to the exam.
