About The Position
Under the direction of the Pharmacy Services Manager or Pharmacist II, the Pharmacist I performs professional pharmaceutical work. The Pharmacist I prepares and dispenses drugs and medications, reviews and transcribes patient charts and medications, and ensures proper handling and record keeping of drugs, poisons, and narcotics in accordance with Department policies, federal and State laws, and regulations. This position is a Limited Term of 12 months, which may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
