About The Position

The Pharmacist at Spring Valley Hospital is responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care, which includes integrated drug distribution, patient counseling, and medication management. This full-time position requires monitoring patients' drug therapies and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within a hospital setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm).
• Current Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada.
• One year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling, and teaching.
• Fill orders for medications and monitor patients' drug therapies.
• Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.
