Pharmacy and Supply Pharmacist - Free Standing ED This is a Broward Miami-Dade market based role to HCA Florida Healthcare Free Standing Emergency Department facilities. Commute to/from the supporting facilities required. Mileage reimbursement available. Requirements

B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy Required
Knowledgeable and proficient in the legal responsibilities of the pharmacist to the facility and all state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services Required
Current Pharmacy license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy Required
Current consultant pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy if applicable Required

Nice To Haves

3 years of acute care hospital experience Preferred
Experience of supporting offsite locations of acute care hospitals Preferred

Responsibilities

Register with appropriate State Board of Pharmacy as the Consultant of Record, if required
Ensures FSEDs are in compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), State Board of Pharmacy, hospital policies and procedures, and other Federal and State regulations
Participates in quality and regulatory reviews and audits, and resolves any gaps found timely and accurately
Maintain appropriate controlled substance records as required by regulatory requirements and policies and procedures
Support and participate in the goals of the organization's quality improvement, risk management and patient safety program to include but not limited to national Patient Safety Goals, Core Measures, and HCAHPS medication related initiatives
