About The Position

The position involves developing and implementing policies and programs for high risk/cost medications to optimize safety, efficacy, regulatory compliance, report metrics, and provide education to healthcare providers. The role also includes participation in quality initiatives, performance improvement, accreditation readiness, academic programs, clinical research, and interdisciplinary activities. The individual will serve as a liaison among multiple disciplines, collaborating with providers, nurses, ancillary services, quality, accreditation, legal/compliance, and executive leadership team members to promote optimal therapeutics and patient care.

Requirements

  • Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy).
  • Less than one year of pharmacist/intern experience.
  • Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida or eligible for licensure within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • PGY1 residency training and PGY2 in area of specialty.
  • Experience in a specific practice area.
