The position involves developing and implementing policies and programs for high risk/cost medications to optimize safety, efficacy, regulatory compliance, report metrics, and provide education to healthcare providers. The role also includes participation in quality initiatives, performance improvement, accreditation readiness, academic programs, clinical research, and interdisciplinary activities. The individual will serve as a liaison among multiple disciplines, collaborating with providers, nurses, ancillary services, quality, accreditation, legal/compliance, and executive leadership team members to promote optimal therapeutics and patient care.
