The 0925 Pharmacist - Clinical FT position involves monitoring the use and administration of patients' drug regimens, verifying the appropriateness of doses, and consulting with physicians and nursing staff regarding drug use. The pharmacist will also teach students technical skills related to drug therapy, evaluate their performance, and develop quality assurance plans to assess drug use. Additionally, the role includes coordinating clinical pharmacy activities, providing in-service training programs, and developing protocols for monitoring drug therapy. The pharmacist may also interpret, fill, and dispense prescriptions as needed.

  • Teaches students the technical skills used in monitoring drug therapy.

  • A Pharmacy Doctorate degree from an accredited university.
  • Two years of professional experience as a pharmacist in an acute care hospital.
  • Possession of a valid license as a Registered Pharmacist issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
