About The Position

Hannaford Supermarkets started out as a fresh produce vendor in Portland, Maine way back in 1883, and is still connected to those early roots as a local market. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Partner with store pharmacists and other associates. • Responsible for professional and business operations within the Pharmacy Department. • Supervise the duties and responsibilities of all pharmacy associates in the absence of the PIC or SP. • Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal and professional appearance at all times and comply with company personal appearance policy. • Maintain an organized workstation at all times. • Maintain solid communication in the department and throughout the organization. • Support Company safety standards. Communicate any needed equipment repairs or maintenance work needed. Keep work area free from debris and safety hazards. • Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity and respect. • Maintain the quality of department's appearance and presentation. • Perform all other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Requirements

Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing as required.
Current license in good standing in the state(s) in which to practice.
Current and active immunizing pharmacist and CPR certification.
Desire to be a motivated caring professional with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with associates.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule consistent with a stimulating retail environment, including nights, weekends and holidays.
High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Authorization to fill Medicare and Medicaid prescriptions.
Accurate and efficient typing skills
Stand/Sit 100% of the time with occasional walking short distances.
Using computer screen/keyboard/mouse/biometric devices 100% of the time.
Use hands frequently/continuously for keyboard and computer work to process prescription information.
Clerical accuracy and mathematical skills.
Ability to use staplers, calculators, communication and computer systems frequently.
Have sufficient visual acuity and audio capability to process prescriptions and service customers by phone.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
