Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience
• Equivalent experience includes Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy and at least two years of relevant pharmacy practice experience
• Commitment to excellence, accuracy, attention to detail and teamwork
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others
• Organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Current Florida pharmacist license or eligible to obtain within 60 days of state of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency
• Experience of working in a progressive academic medical center's Institutional / Hospital Pharmacy practice
• Demonstration of leadership and team building skills
• History of scholarly activities including publication and scientific meeting presentations
• Experience and/or interest in teaching
