The Pharmacist provides care of patients by optimizing medication use, clinical monitoring, and drug distribution services. This role involves compounding and dispensing medications using medication orders authorized by a legally authorized prescriber. The Pharmacist instructs patients as necessary on medications, including drug interactions, and reviews patient medication history for allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapies, and safety. Additionally, the Pharmacist supervises and directs pharmacy technicians and other support personnel, reporting to the Director of Pharmacy.
