About The Position

You're driven, resourceful, and above all else - remarkably smart. The Training Manager (TM) is primarily responsible for the successful delivery, execution, and management of all training-related needs. The TM is expected to comprehend and communicate the disease state, marketplace, and product-specific materials and must possess effective facilitation and communication skills. As a partner to sales training management, should be highly competent in selling skills in complex customer environments. The TM should be capable of supporting delivery of creative training curricula for small teams with limited budgets. Facilitation excellence in engaging learners using data and storytelling to help customers identify appropriate patients is crucial. Experience in facilitating MLR approval for innovative training materials is helpful. Please note this is a 6-month contract, part-time 20 hours/week. Hybrid role - will include work in the client's central NJ office, home, and minimal travel for training.

Requirements

  • Required: 4-year college degree
  • Required: Bio-pharma sales training experience, experience in allergy helpful, high-level PowerPoint skills
  • Pharma sales and training and/or coaching experience; background in Key Account Management, Reimbursement helpful

Responsibilities

  • Manages live or virtual classroom environment in a manner that allows participants to meet learning objectives
  • Provide impactful webinar training as required
  • Experienced in engaging workshop delivery utilizing Adult Learning Principles
  • Provide Train the Leader/Trainer workshops
  • Facilitate onboarding and NSM workshops
  • Guides and coaches representatives during training classes
  • Evaluates the competency levels of training class participants and provides timely evaluations and feedback
  • Completes Field Rides upon request from Sales Leadership
  • Provide effective remote coaching to field-based teams
  • Engage in mentoring opportunities with Field-Based trainers and personnel
  • Supports Field Sales and Field Sales Management Team by leading efforts around national sales meetings, manager meetings, and other training initiatives
  • Follow the Agenda Development/Updates for training activities
  • Manage the Medical, Legal, Regulatory Review process for training assets, including facilitation of PRC approval for submissions
  • Assist in Curriculum Development where appropriate, with emphasis on creative, budget-conscious solutions for small teams
  • Oversees implementation of, or delivers, all training programs, including new-hire backfill training, advanced training, and NSM and virtual training
  • Conducts ongoing training needs analysis
  • Creates and maintains a workable Training Plan to determine the goals, strategies, and tactics to be implemented to achieve client satisfaction
  • May represent training leadership in meetings when needed and ensures seamless follow-through and communication
