About The Position

As a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist - Respiratory Specialty at AstraZeneca, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling innovative respiratory medicines. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least two years of documented, full-time, successful pharmaceutical sales experience or three years of sales experience in a scientific/clinical/healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge within healthcare ecosystems.
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record.

  • Knowledge of the medical, healthcare, or pharmacy industry and skills in clinical.
  • Experience calling on Respiratory Specialists such as Pulmonologists and Allergists.
  • Experience calling on health systems and large group practices.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership, organization, and communication skills.

  • Results-oriented with demonstrated time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop superior product and disease state knowledge to educate healthcare professionals.
  • Drive sales performance to meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
  • Complete training requirements, including product examinations.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market and demographic information relevant to the sales territory.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Business Director and District Sales Manager to create a local strategy and business plan.
  • Capitalize on formulary approvals and implement Strategic Targeting Plans effectively.
  • Provide special education to healthcare providers within ethical guidelines.
  • Coordinate selling efforts with other Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists.
