About The Position

The Pharma Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling pharmacy-based solutions directly to pharmaceutical manufacturers and brand teams. As part of one of the fastest growing teams in the company, this role will focus on establishing new relationships with brand stakeholders, expanding existing partnerships, and scaling revenue across pharmaceutical accounts. The individual will act as a strategic partner to manufacturers, aligning solutions to support patient acquisition, adherence, and overall brand performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers and brand teams in a commercial, sales, or account management capacity
  • Demonstrated success selling solutions that drive patient acquisition, engagement, adherence, or retention
  • Strong understanding of the patient journey, including awareness, diagnosis, treatment initiation, adherence, and ongoing support, with experience selling solutions that span multiple stages of that journey
  • Ability to navigate complex pharmaceutical organizations and engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., brand, marketing, market access, patient services)
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate data and insights into compelling value propositions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation capabilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis and storytelling to support strategic discussions with manufacturers
  • Strong organizational, time management, and pipeline management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Technical proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and standard business software
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel for onsite client meetings, relationship-building activities, and industry conferences (approximately 25% or more as needed)
  • Minimum years of work experience: 5 years in pharma or pharmacy patient support programs and would prefer mid-level management experience
  • Minimum level of education or education/experience: Bachelors Degree in business or Healthcare related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead prospecting efforts and build strong relationships with key decision makers across pharmaceutical manufacturers, including brand, marketing, market access, and patient support teams
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales approach to position pharmacy-based solutions that support brand objectives such as patient acquisition, adherence, and retention
  • Establish and grow long-term partnerships with pharmaceutical brand teams through a consultative, solution-oriented sales process
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities within existing manufacturer accounts and expanding into new therapeutic areas and brands
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align solutions with manufacturer needs, including product, marketing, and data teams
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and value narratives tailored to pharmaceutical stakeholders
  • Travel regularly for onsite meetings with pharmaceutical manufacturers to strengthen relationships, advance deals, and support strategic planning sessions
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events to build relationships, generate leads, and stay current on market trends and competitive dynamics
  • Partner with internal teams to develop sales materials such as case studies, playbooks, and thought leadership content aligned to manufacturer needs
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
  • Stay informed on industry trends, patient engagement strategies, and emerging technologies impacting pharmaceutical commercialization and patient support programs
