We currently have a role available for a Pharma Molecular Biologist at one of our Indianapolis sites.

Requirements

  • BS – Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cellular Biology or related field with 4-7 years of laboratory experience, preferably from a pharma environment.
  • MS-Molecular Biology, etc. with 1-3 years of experience outside of academia would also be considered.
  • Strong time management skills and flexibility to handle urgent projects within given timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Very strong attention to detail and safety as well as problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstration of excellent team player skills.
  • A high level of learning agility and the ability to work across functions.

Nice To Haves

  • preferably have prior experience running ELISAs.
  • preferably have prior experience running qPCR/RT-PCR.
  • prior experience homogenizations is desirable.
  • Experience operating liquid handlers is a plus.
  • The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and optimizing ligand based custom immunoassays.
  • Testing samples using qPCR/RT-PCR.
  • Analyzing tissue samples and utilizing DNA/RNA extraction.
  • Utilizing laboratory automation equipment.
  • Interpreting and evaluating results for internal customers.
