About The Position

The Pharma Field Sales - District Business Manager position at Novo Nordisk involves leading sales teams to execute strategies that enhance profitability and achieve sales objectives within the Fort Worth South Texas territory. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Pharm D required.
  • 5+ years of progressive pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience required.
  • Previous people management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business and build strategies reflecting marketplace trends.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to engage individuals and teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead sales teams in executing sales strategies to increase profitability.
  • Manage, train, and develop staff while preparing regional budgets and business plans.
  • Ensure compliance with the Prescription Drug Marketing Act and related policies.
  • Monitor and reinforce the use of the Sales Force Automation System.
  • Communicate regional activity of competitive products through monthly highlight reports.
  • Develop and monitor performance against regional budgets.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of administrative requirements.
  • Evaluate appropriate use of regional resources to meet profitability goals.
  • Review and audit expense reports.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of Novo Nordisk products and management skills through training programs.
  • Execute regional account targeting strategy and manage customer needs assessments.
  • Identify program/service requirements for addressing customer needs.
  • Manage regional resource allocation and monitor performance against strategic objectives.
  • Oversee regional account relationship development and management.
  • Ensure contractual requirements are met for the region.
  • Coordinate between field resources and organizational resources.
