About The Position

The Diabetes Care Specialist (DCS) is responsible for achieving sales goals by implementing marketing and sales strategies to effectively promote Novo Nordisk's portfolio of diabetes and cardiometabolic products. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and understanding the local payer market to tailor approaches that drive business impact. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Pharm D required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare, Sales, Consulting, Customer Service, or Military.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel) required.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making ability.
  • Solid understanding of diabetes disease state and Novo Nordisk's products.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant Novo Nordisk experience preferred.
  • Prior experience using sales data/call reporting software ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals by implementing marketing and sales strategies.

  • Build and maintain relationships with prescribers and clinic administrators.
  • Implement the Novo Nordisk Way selling model with external customers.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accountability.
  • Manage territory budget and marketing promotional program budget.
