About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Pharm D required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare, Sales, Consulting, Customer Service, or Military preferred.
  • Relevant experience with Novo Nordisk preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills required (Windows, Word, Excel).
  • Prior experience using sales data/call reporting software ideal.
  • Self-starter with decision-making ability and minimal supervision.
  • Solid understanding of diabetes disease state and Novo Nordisk's products.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals by implementing marketing and sales strategies for Novo Nordisk's product portfolio.
  • Maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists.
  • Understand the local payer market and its impact on customer decisions.
  • Identify business opportunities based on territory customer groups and affiliations.
  • Analyze bidding policies and contracts to influence formulary status.
  • Develop account plans tailored to stakeholders' business practices.
  • Utilize market understanding to create and execute territory business plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prescribers, support staff, and clinic administrators.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and a customer-focused approach with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across functions to share knowledge and business opportunities.
  • Implement the Novo Nordisk Way selling model with external customers.
  • Evaluate territory business opportunities and create business plans to engage customers.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders to implement plans and ensure accountability.
  • Manage territory budget and marketing promotional program budget to support sales goals.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of disease states and treatment options.
