About The Position

The Diabetes Care Specialist (DCS) is responsible for achieving sales goals by implementing marketing and sales strategies to effectively promote Novo Nordisk's portfolio of diabetes and cardiometabolic products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office staff. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, understanding the local payer market, and tailoring approaches to meet customer needs. The DCS collaborates with internal teams and utilizes analytical tools to develop territory business plans that drive sales and ensure that the latest therapies reach those in need.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Pharm D required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare, Sales, Consulting, Customer Service, or Military.
  • Relevant experience with Novo Nordisk preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel) required.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making ability.
  • Solid understanding of diabetes disease state and Novo Nordisk's products.

  • Experience with sales data and call reporting software.
  • Ability to communicate technical and scientific product information.

  • Manage territory budget and marketing promotional program budget.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of diabetes disease states and treatment options.
